Gretsch-Unitas is a German company producing automatic doors. In Slovakia and in the Czech republic, the company operates in an online environment via www.automatickedvere.com webpage. The company uses Google AdWords PPC campaigns and the Sklik system in the Czech republic. It’s aimed at B2B clientele.

Problems and solutions

Campaigns were achieving poor results. Czech campaign was spending a lot of money with no desired outcome. On the other hand, Slovak campaign was achieving some partial results but with low volume. The situation required a major campaign reworking.

It was also necessary to at least partly redesign the outdated website, by means of content and functional changes on the web, as the conversion rate was very low.

Quantitative UX audit was carried out by means of user session replay, heatmap tracking, online questionnaire as well as using Google Analytics.

Streamlining of the Czech campaign lead to the following:

  • 40% increase in conversion rates (submission of contact forms)
  • 25% decrease in capital invested
  • Zlepšenie kvality návštevnosti – the number of websites visited per one visit increased by 7.5% and the average time on sites increased by 27%
  • The paid website traffic fell by 33%.
